Co-director of the Kinemez physiotherapy Centre since 2001, located in Barcelona (España). Co-Director of the Institute of Global Physiotherapy Mézières (IFGM) since 2008. President and co-founder of the latin American Mézièriste Association of Physiotherapy (AMIF) since 2008. Member of the Association Mézièriste Internationale de Kinésithérapie (AMIK). Pedagogical co-director of the Método Mézières training in France, Spain and latin American countries. He has published articles in national and international journals and he has participated in numerous conferences in Spain and France.

He is a PhD candidate at the University of Barcelona, Member of the Human Pose Recovery group, Behavior Analysis and Computer Vision centre. He earned his advanced engineer’s degree from the Universidad autónoma de Barcelona in 2010. Then in 2011, he has studied master in Artificial Intelligence at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. In October 2011 he joined the Department of Applied Mathematicsand Analysis of the University of Barcelona, where he is currently completing his PhD in Applied Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence. He is currently an associate professor at the University of Barcelona, practising different subjects of computer engineering official degree. His fields of interest include the pattern recognition, the processing of multi-modal signal, and the computer vision, together with its application in health systems. He has published numerous articles in journals and has participated in national and international conferences.

Computer Engineer. Professor-Lecturer. Department of Applied Mathematics and Analysis at the University of Barcelona. Director of the research group “Human Pose Recovery” and Behavior Analysis at the University of Barcelona and Computer Vision Center of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. From the point of view of the Vision and Artificial Intelligencia, he is working in different areas related to the automatic analysis and the interpretation of human behavior, with special interest in the health sector. Licensed in 2003, doctor since 2008 and co-authored of more than 100 scientific publications, he has directed and participated in numerous research and transfer projects, both domestic and international, as well as public and private projects. It has more than 10 years of experience in Computer Vision and Automatic learning.

HISTORY
The signing of an agreement between the intellectual property authors (UB-IFGM) for the operation of the product through the company PhysicalTech s.l. The establishment of the PhysicalTech company for the operation of technology products in the health and sport sector. The finalization of version1.0 of the ADiBAS Posture software to use it with the Kinect ™ camera.
The financing and the participation of IFGM to continue with the research and development in the 3D image digitalisation for the postural analysis with the cooperation of computer engineers and researchers from the UB. The realisation of preliminary scientific studies on the validation of the ADIBAS software.
The development of the first trial version of ADIBAS for postural analysis through the multisensor Kinect ™. Through the Fundació Bosch i Gimpera, an agreement of co-ownership is signed between the University of Barcelona and the Institute for Global Physiotherapy Mézières, for the work: Automatic Digital Biometry Analysis System (ADiBAS). The software is registered in the intellectual property registry of Barcelona.
The agreement between the engineers at the University of Barcelona and the private company IFGM (Instituto de Fisioterapia Global Mézières ), to develop a software which enables us the automatic postural analysis based on digital photogrammetry. and in a second stage begins investigating with the Kinect ™ multisesor on the market in November 2010. In a second step, we begin the research with the Kinect™ multisensor which appears on the market in November 2010
In the health area, the IFGM training company (Instituto de Fisioterapia Global Mézières), established in 2001, develops its teaching activity at the university sector (Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. Barcelona. Spain) and in educational companies of the private sector. The IFGM teachers are experts in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders following a global approach based on the postural reeducation. During this phase, softwares based on 2D digital image are used for the postural analysis. In the area of computer engineering and from the University of Barcelona and the Computer Vision Center at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, the engineers of our team lead projects related to human posture and behavior analysis.
